Luke 23:34a: Jesus said, “Father forgive them; for they don’t know what they are doing.”
We are in a strange yet wonderful time in the life of a believer. “Who is a believer?” Those who have been born again and have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord, Savior, and Master. The only begotten Son of our Heavenly Father.
We are blessed to see another Passion Week, a time of renewed hope. This is the week before Easter Sunday. The third day of a hard week of pressing through to the end of His earthly journey, heading toward a cruel road of hard punishment and suffering. Jesus came to tell those who would believe and received about His Fathers Love and forgiveness.
He fellowshipped at a sinner's house, anointed by a sinner woman, among on looking sinners, on his way to die for a whole world full of sinners. This week we are asked to ponder on the details that stood up a “Sinless man willing to die for Sinners” upon a cross just to prove His Father’s love to us.
Just don’t look at the obvious, what’s in front of you. Look in the heart of the one suffering and dying for you. Take a good heart of the matter. Look. Pay attention to the details. After all, He took a good look at you and decided to do something for you!
“This is a week to ponder on your love for Him”
